About the Clinical Deanery
The Clinical Deanery, under the direction of the Dean of Clinical Medicine (Professor Alastair Burt) is responsible for :
- the professional engagement with NHS partners across the Region
- development and delivery of the infrastructure for Translational Medicine (including clinical research platforms and facilities)
- development and support of the clinical academic workforce including training and contractual areas
- championing clinical scholarship and the role of academics in clinical leadership.
