About the Clinical Academic Office
The Clinical Academic Office, under the direction of the Dean of Clinical Medicine (Professor Alastair Burt), is responsible for :
- professional engagement with NHS partners across the Region.
- development and delivery of the infrastructure for Translational Medicine (including clinical research platforms and facilities).
- development and support of the clinical academic workforce including training and contractual areas.
- championing clinical scholarship and the role of academics in clinical leadership.
