Annual NIHR Training Meeting September 2011

Presentation to Richard Holmes by Professor Neilson

The Annual NIHR Training Meeting took place from 19-20th September at the Queen's Head Hotel in Leeds.  Congratulations go to Dr Richard Holmes who's research poster won one of three prizes in the "Doctoral Research" category.  He was presented with his certificate and prize by Professor Neilson, the NIHR Dean, at the conference dinner.  You can follow the link to the NIHR TCC website for further details about this event.

Academic Trainee Induction: 10th August 2011

An induction evening was held on Wednesday 10th August, 2011, for all new clinical academic trainees commencing as Academic Foundation Programme doctors and Academic Clinical Fellows.  A welcome was given by Professor Alastair Burt, Dean of Clinical Medicine, and then each of the programme directors gave an overview of the phases of clinical academic training, and a presentation was also given by the Academic Training Path Trainee representative.  The presentations are available in .pdf format as follows:-
