I am currently on the Academic Foundation Programme and so spend 1/3 time on child health epidemiology research. I am particularly interested in international child nutrition, and studied the intercalated BSc in International Health at the Nuffield Centre for International Health and Development, University of Leeds.
In January 2012 I will be continuing my work in international child health with SEARCH in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra, India.
I run a 4-stranded, 12-week teaching programme run by 1st and 2nd year junior doctors for final year medical students in the Tyne Base Unit (RVI, Freeman hospital, Queen Elizabeth hospital Gateshead).
