Toxicology MRes

Overview

The programme gives students a broad understanding in toxicology, from basic concepts and molecular mechanisms to a review of target organ toxicities, pre-clinical and clinical pharmaceutical toxicology testing and provides a broad overview of toxicology as it is applied in the pharmaceutical industries.  Research projects can be undertaken in areas relevant to both clinical and environmental toxicology.

Research Project

The largest single component of the degree programme is a 100 credit compulsory research project (MMB8099).
