Teaching

It is possible to study the Certificate modules either by attending teaching days on campus, supported by self directed study, through our attendance pathway; or as distance learning through our e-learning pathway. The Diploma and Masters are only available as attendance-based learning and will involve teaching days on campus, supported by self directed study.

Apart from students on the Certificate e-learning pathway, students are expected to attend a number of teaching sessions in the academic year. These will take place in Newcastle, and will involve a combination of workshops, lectures and seminars. In addition, learning will be supported by self directed study. Each student will also be allocated a tutor who will guide them through the programme.

Each stage of the programme (Certificate, Diploma then Masters) should be completed in 1 year, with the full Masters being completed in 3 years.
