Musculoskeletal Disease in Ageing
This theme aims to identify modifiable risk factors for musculoskeletal disorders in older people and to develop innovative and appropriate strategies for prevention and treatment.
We collaborate with the stroke and cardiovascular ageing theme and benefit greatly from the availability of the unique elderly cohorts available in Newcastle, including the Newcastle Thousand Families and Newcastle 85+ studies.
