Marketing programme ranked 6th national league table

Newcastle University Business School has been ranked 6th in the UK for marketing, climbing two places in the 2018 Complete University Guide League table.

The Business School has also risen in all subject areas climbing up the table:

  • Business and Management rising two places to 24th
  • Economics jumped four places to 23rd
  • Accounting and Finance now stands at 14th
  • Marketing has climbed up the top 10 from 8th to 6th.

Newcastle University overall, climbed two places to be ranked 23rd in the country - joint with Edinburgh. Newcastle is ranked in the top ten in 18 subject areas.

Professor Suzanne Cholerton, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Learning and Teaching, Newcastle University, said:

“We are delighted that the University has risen in the ranking of this influential guide and continues to be highly rated. 

“Our increase in ranking reflects our key focus on delivering the best possible environment for learning, teaching and research.”
