Culture Lab is a unique research infrastructure providing an environment for academics and practitioners working beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries.
Set in the Grade II Listed Grand Assembly Rooms on King’s Walk, Culture Lab houses magnificently refurbished open-plan research spaces, a performance space and dedicated electronics, workshop, multimedia and sound spaces.
Culture Lab spaces are designed as an assembly of flexible, re-configurable spaces to support collaborative interdisciplinary research. Spaces are equipped for uses ranging from real-time interactive technology experiments to live performances, lectures and readings, conferences and seminars.
