ISRU has extensive experience of delivering programmes to organisations throughout Europe to enable them to improve business performance. All ISRU technical staff are members of the European Network for Business and Industrial Statistics (ENBIS), a professional body aimed at bridging the gap between academia and the application of statistically based improvement techniques.
ISRU staff have been improving business performance across the service, manufacturing and healthcare sectors for over twenty years. The unit provides a dedicated consulting service for implementing cutting edge improvement methodologies.
ISRU also delivers learning and support programmes for individuals in service, manufacturing and healthcare environments. ISRU-trained improvement practitioners have achieved cost savings of £5k to £2m per project. Learning programmes have been delivered at a variety of levels; at the University and on-site at the organisation; in the North East, throughout the UK and Europe; off the shelf and bespoke.
ISRU staff have extensive expertise in the delivery, implementation and support of Lean Sigma and numerous other statistically and lean based improvement and quality initiatives. Training courses are designed to allow companies to achieve significant improvements in quality, service and operational performance.
ISRU has extensive experience of UK government and European funded projects, both as a partner and principal co-ordinator. ISRU also has experience of delivering regionally funded projects.
