Newcastle University Innovation Fund
Do you represent a UK business who is looking for expertise from world-class academic researchers? Do you need specific assistance with the validation, testing, design or development of your product/process? Are you looking for a way to establish a long term, mutually beneficial collaboration with the University in order to unlock further R&D funding for novel products and services for your company?
If so, Newcastle may be able to assist by offering match funding from its ‘Innovation Fund ‘to encourage and improve the initial interaction between the University and UK business. The ‘Innovation Fund’ can contribute up to £5,000 towards the cost of the following services:
- Survey and feasibility studies
- Proof of concept and validation
- Product development and design
- Analysis and testing
- Commercial and contract research
The Innovation Fund will be renewed annually in August and will Run until September 2015 and is principally to encourage the development of strategically important relationships between the University and Industry.
