TITLE: The genes that were missed: an expanding universe of small RNAs and small proteins

SPEAKER: Gisela Storz, Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute for Child Health and Human Development

Gisela Storz works with bacterial stress response and small toxins in E.coli.  She has accomplished important discoveries, such as OxyR and 6S RNA and has now turned to the difficult project of identifying the function of small antisense RNA regulated toxin-encoding genes in E.coli.
