Postgraduate
At the moment, we have a thriving postgraduate community of about 90 students.
ICaMB offers research programmes (MPhil, PhD and MD) which reflect our multi-disciplinary research portfolio. The majority of our studentship programmes are 4 years and include an MRes in Medical and Molecular Biosciences.
We have a Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) Training Account and can offer about 20 studentships each year to well qualified graduates.
ICaMB has a Postgraduate Tutor and a Postgraduate Student Committee. All students are provided with the training and funds to present their work both within ICaMB and at scientific meetings.
Our postgraduate students also receive support and training from the Faculty of Medical Sciences Graduate School, and have access to excellent research facilities within the Institute and in the wider University community.
