How to apply for advertised studentships
BBSRC and MRC studentships are available to UK and EU nationals only.
Non UK EU nationals must be resident in the UK for 3 years prior to the start of the studentship otherwise they will be eligible for fees only.
Applicants should hold or expect to obtain an Upper Second or First Class Honours degree in a relevant discipline.

Please note that you can apply for up to 3 ICaMB studentships on one application.
To apply for advertised Studentships please use the University's postgraduate online application. Please note when applying:
- Select 'Doctor of Philosophy (Institute for Cell and Molecular Biosciences)' as the programme of study.
- Complete only mandatory fields.
- No personal statement is required but you should mention the studentship(s) for which you are applying.
- Your CV and covering letter should also be attached.
