Our research is divided by the following two overarching groups:
Bacterial Cell Biology and Biochemistry
ICaMB's bacterial cell biologists and biochemists represent an exceptional group of individuals investigating activities of cells in tractable bacterial models.
Eukaryotic Cell Biology and Biochemistry
Eukaryotic models are exploited by the group to develop a greater understanding of the basics of cell biology/biochemistry; these include diverse yeast, nematodes, drosophila, zebrafish, xenopus, mammalian cells and mice.
