Yes - our services are available to all Newcastle University graduates for up to three years following graduation, provided you complete our Graduate Registration Form. See Eligibility for further information.

Can I get feedback on my CV/covering letter/application form/personal statement?
Yes! Just bring along a printed copy of your document between 10am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, to speak with a careers adviser, information officer or CV adviser. Our website provides useful tips and advice on Making Applications.

When is the Careers Service open?
Our regular opening hours throughout the year are:
Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 9 am - 5 pm
Wed 10 am - 5 pm
You can come in and talk to us without an appointment. We offer a drop-in service each day between 10.00 am and 4.30 pm.
Please note, we are closed on bank and public holidays and during the period between Christmas and New Year.

Can I speak to someone about changing or leaving my course?
Yes, you may find talking to a careers adviser a useful and impartial next step in helping to understand your options and decide the best way forward. How do I book a place to attend a careers workshop/employer presentation/recruitment fair?
We try to limit the need to book places for the majority of our events, but in some cases this may be required. Check the relevant listing in Careers Events for any registration instructions and to avoid disappointment.

You can call in any time to discuss interview preparation with an information officer. Depending on your circumstances, it may then be possible to arrange a longer appointment for a practice interview with a careers adviser. Our website provides useful tips and advice on preparing for Interviews.
