We are delighted to announce our success at the National Placement & Internship Awards 2012 that took place on Wednesday 18th January. The Awards were created by RateMyPlacement.co.uk to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements involved in undergraduate work placements and internships.
Jim Wood, Assistant Director (Curriculum) of the Careers Service fought off competition to win the ‘University Personality of the Year’ Award for his dedication and passion for his role, helping students apply and maximise their work experience opportunities.
A key element of Jim’s role is the Career Development module, which gives you the opportunity to use your work experience, volunteering activities or part-time job to count towards your degree. Find out more about the Career Development module.
Congratulations Jim from the whole Careers Service!
