Here at the Careers Service, we are looking to recruit 20 new members to join the Student Communication Team (SCT) and to work on a casual basis throughout the academic year 2013/14.

We are looking for enterprising individuals who can support the Marketing and Events team within the Careers Service, where you will be expected to champion and promote our events and services to students of all degree disciplines and all academic stages.

You will be self-motivated with excellent communication, planning and organising skills. You must be able to work both as part of a team and using your own initiative. You will be flexible and have a proven record of reliability.

Opportunities will be available to undertake a variety of paid activities during the academic year including, but not exclusive to:

• distributing literature
• lecture shouts
• event support
• promotional campaigns on campus
• market research and marketing planning
• social media and video creation
