Background

Angela joined the Careers Service in October 1999 as Clerical Assistant, progressing to Receptionist, then Employer Liaison Assistant, before taking up the role of Events Co-ordinator in 2004.

Roles and Responsibilities

Angela organises the University’s Summer & Autumn Recruitment Fair events held annually at St James’ Park, and the Law Fair. This involves direct employer targeting; co-ordinating bookings and payment; liaising with venue contacts; marketing the events to students; updating our on-line vacancy information; floor-plans and event schedules.
