Background
Ciara joined the Entrepeneurial Development Unit of the Careers Service in 2009 as a Graduate Development Officer. She has worked for Newcastle University since 2005 as a Research Associate in the Institute for Cell and Molecular Biosciences.
Roles and Responsibilities
Ciara manages the ONE Enterprise Activity Fund Project. The aim of this project is to create an early stage business incubation support service for new businesses generated by the EDU team. Ciara also has a role within the team delivering business start-up support, workshops, teaching and researcher development.
Qualifications
Ph.D. Microbiology, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
B.Sc. (Hons) Biochemistry, University College Dublin.
