Background

Gayle started working for Newcastle University in May 2002 and her team (the Curriculum Unit) joined the Careers Service in April 2006. Prior to this, upon graduation she had short term posts with a county council, bank and museum before travelling for a year.

Roles and Responsibilities

Gayle runs the Student Associates Scheme for Newcastle University students in collaboration with Northumbria University. She is also a module leader for Career Development Modules and editor of the unit's annual newsletter 'Aspiration Focus'.
