Background

Jos joined the university as a careers adviser in 2004. Prior to this she was a careers adviser at Connexions, advising sixth-formers on university entry. Before training as a careers adviser she worked as a TEFL teacher and had a number of roles in various charities and international organisations.

Roles and Responsibilities

She is the careers adviser linked to the Schools of English Literature, Language & Linguistics; Law; Modern Languages.

She is also the link careers adviser for the Combined Honours Centre and the PGCE and MA/MEd courses in ECLS.

Qualifications

Jos graduated with BA (Hons) Humanities and a Postgraduate Diploma in Careers Guidance.
