Background
Joy joined the Careers Service in August 2011 as the Placement Assistant for part-time and vacation recruitment. She previously spent four years working in clerical assistant roles in both the Banking and Retail sectors.
Roles and Responsibilities
Joy works in the Business Engagement Team. She is responsible for assisting with the part-time agenda for Newcastle University students and is a point of contact for any employer wishing to advertise part-time/vacation jobs. She also helps in the organisation of the Autumn Part-Time Jobs Fair and assists with the Passport to Work scheme.
Qualifications
BA (Hons) Geography, Newcastle University.
