Katherine joined the Careers Service in July 2009 after transferring from her role as Job Shop Co-ordinator in the Union Society at Newcastle University. She had been the Manager of the Job Shop since February 2003 and before that, had worked for both Sheffield Hallam University and Northumbria University Careers Services.
She is responsible for managing the part-time/vacation work recruitment for the Careers Service and is the first point of contact for any employer wishing to advertise part-time/vacation jobs. She also organises two annual part-time job fairs in conjunction with Northumbria University Careers Service.
