Naomi Oosman-Watts

Assistant Director (Career Management)



Naomi joined Newcastle University's Careers Service in June 2015, with the remit for Career Management. Her background is varied and has always been driven by a passion for supporting students to achieve their potential, from working in the area of widening participation and social mobility to developing expertise in the effective collection and use of graduate destinations data. In addition to her current role at Newcastle, Naomi is also a Director with the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services (AGCAS) with particular responsibility for graduate employability and outcomes data, representing the association on the steering group for the new national Graduate Outcomes Survey. 

Roles and Responsibilities

As well as managing the provision of excellent customer service and support within the Careers and Enterprise Centre, she also oversees the delivery of Information,Advice and Guidance across the University and leads on the Destination of Leaver's from Higher Education survey on behalf of the institution. She contributes to the strategic development and delivery of employability within the institution and has been involved in developing and implementing the University's Employability and Enterprise Strategy as well as the delivery of careers support and employability initiatives at Newcastle University's campuses in London, Singapore and Malaysia.
