Naomi Oosman-Watts

Assistant Director (Career Management)



Naomi joined Newcastle University's Careers Service in June 2015, with the remit for Career Management. Her background is varied and has always been driven by a passion for supporting students to achieve their potential. Her experience spans from developing and leading the careers support and widening participation agendas at a Further Education college, to heading up a marketing department and most recently managing the Careers Service and leading on the development of the employability strategy at the University of Cumbria. 

Roles and Responsibilities

As well as managing the provision of excellent customer service and support within the Careers and Enterprise Centre, she also oversees the provision of Information,Advice and Guidance across the University and manages the delivery of the Destination of Leaver's from Higher Education survey on behalf of the institution. She contributes to the strategic development and delivery of employability within the institution and has been involved in developing and implementing the University's Employability and Enterprise Strategy as well as the delivery of careers support and employability initiatives at Newcastle University's campuses in London, Singapore and Malaysia.
