'The placement allowed me to apply the skills I learned during my degree to a real working environment, where I could actually make a difference in an organisation that does vital work within the community. As a result, I feel more confident and have greater prospects of getting the graduate job I've been working towards.'
Alexander Teahan, Stage 3 Psychology
'Thanks to my NWE placement, I have been able to get a graduate job that I otherwise would not have had the skills or knowledge to get; I had to perform a task in the interview that I only knew how to complete because I'd learned it on placement. I am very pleased with my experience.'
Cheyenne Graves, Masters Latin American Studies
'The NWE scheme has hugely benefited me. I have not only had the chance to develop skills I picked up at university, but also develop new ones. The real world experience provided by the scheme is invaluable, and it also provides the opportunity to make business connections. Thanks to the scheme I have been offered a permanent position by the company where I did my placement.'
David Dodds, Stage 3 Politics and History
