Choose your future

This popular two-part course is aimed to help you explore who you are and what you want from the future. Designed around fun exercises, you will:

  • identify your skills, interests, values and personality traits
  • link these interests to possible career ideas
  • use a variety of methods to research your ideas
  • devise a plan of action giving you the confidence to make decisions

To get the most from these sessions you should feel comfortable working in small groups and be willing to share your thoughts with other participants.

Workshops take place on Wednesday 23rd and Wednesday 30th October from 2.00-4.30pm. You must be able to attend both workshops. 

As the number of places for this two-part course are limited, please reserve a place by paying a £5.00 returnable deposit at the Careers Service reception (Level 1, King’s Gate) by 5pm on Friday 18th October 2013. Hurry, places fill quickly.

Newcastle Graduate Skills you will develop include: self awareness and reflection, planning and organisation, occupational awareness.
