This workshop is for those thinking about applying for a PGCE course in secondary teaching, within the shortage subject areas of Mathematics, Science and Modern Languages. These courses may attract a bursary and have vacancies for the September 2012 intake. Students from related courses, such as Engineering, can also apply.

You will discover how to make the best possible application, what the selectors are looking for, how to prepare and what to expect at the selection day.

The workshop will be delivered by one of Newcastle University’s PGCE admissions tutors.

Newcastle Graduate Skills you will develop include: self-awareness and reflection, communication and occupational awareness.
