For those that want to do things differently, come to a START UP Uncovered session and see how we can support you in shaping a future on your own terms.
If you’re unsure about whether starting a business may be the right choice for you, or you’re curious about what qualities it takes to become a successful freelancer or business owner, then sign up for START UP Uncovered. This interactive workshop is designed to help you to decide whether going freelance or launching a business is the right choice to make based on your values and motivations.
During the session we’ll work to debunk myths about starting a business and discuss how to manage common barriers which prevent people from setting out on their own. There will be the opportunity to ask questions to those who are already working for themselves, as we will hear from recent students and graduates who are doing just that – and who have both succeeded and failed!
Finally, if you decide that starting a business sounds like a good fit, we’ll give you an overview of the vast array of support available from START UP to help you pursue this route.
