Our recent postgraduate students and post-doctoral researchers have succeeded in their career goals in both academic and non-academic environments.
Left in 2008
- Tom Pollet (PhD 2008) is an Associate Professor at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands
- John Skelhorn (PhD 2005) first did his PhD here, and then held a Lloyds Tercentenary Fellow. He is now a PDRA with Graeme Ruxton at the University of Glasgow.
Left in 2007
- Lucy Asher (PhD 2007) is a BBSRC-funded PDRA at the Royal Vetinary College
- Craig Barnett (PhD 2007) has a post-doc with Scott Sakaluk at Illinois State University
- Hannah George (PhD 2007) is doing a Cinical Psychology degree at the University of Leeds
- Stephanie Matheson (MPhil 2007) is now a BBSRC-funded PhD student at the Scottish Agricultural College
- Liz Coiffait (PhD 2007) now works for the British Trust for Ornithology
- Katy Smith (PhD 2007) left to take up a position in statistics analysis
- Nikki Turnhill (PhD 2007) now works for Dipsticks Research, a market research agency, specialising in media and marketting communications research
- Katy Green (PhD 2007) also works for Dipsticks Research.
Left in 2006
- Lucinda Male (PhD 2006) became an Executive in Business Modelling, Deloitte & Touche
- Roger Santer (PhD 2003) is now a postdoctoral research fellow, working with Eileen Hebets at the University of Nebraska
- Rick Stafford was a post-doctoral researcher and is now a Lecturer in Biology at the University of Gloucestershire
- Shigang Yue was a postdoctoral researcher, before moving to Cambridge University and becoming a research associate in the Brain Mapping Unit.
Left in 2005
- Daniel Farrelly (PhD 2005) is now a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Sunderland.
