Introduction

Following a PhD in fallow deer contest behaviour at University College Dublin I took up a research position at the University of York investigating the relationship between conditioning and timing. I then moved to the University of Nottingham to work with Charlotte Bonardi on a project on conditional learning. I arrived at Newcastle in 2007 where I am continuing to pursue my interests in contest behaviour and associative learning and timing.
