Research Interests
I am interested in learning in animals and humans. I have previously done projects during my BSc and MSc which involved song learning in birds (the dialect of the chaffinch) which was supervised by Dr Rob Lachlan and Dr Katharina Riebel at the University of Leiden, the Netherlands. I also studied social learning in sticklebacks at St Andrews University under Prof. Kevin Laland.
Project
I am now a student of Dr Domhnall Jennings and will be studying associative learning in humans. I will try to develop experiments which will answer questions about which theories are most suitable to describe the associative learning process and will be looking at stimulus duration effects in blocking studies in associative learning.
