Current Work

We are looking at decision, risk and uncertainty analysis of the whole process design and development paying particular attention to polymer, intermediate and fine chemical industries under the F3 Factory research project. This is funded by the European Commission under the FP 7 Programme. The basic assumption is that the EU chemical industry’s competitive position would be significantly enhanced if it could operate modular continuous plant and thus the concept of fast, flexible and future (F3) factory is formed.
