At Newcastle we provide excellent support services for our students. Our Student Advice Centre , Student Counselling Service and other central services are always available for you to turn to if you are looking for information, advice and help.
Personal tutor system
The University runs a Personal Tutor System for undergraduates to give you help and advice. Your tutor is is your Degree Programme Director who advises you on your academic progress and who acts as a personal link between you and the University.
Postgraduate students benefit from being assigned a Supervisor, usually a member of academic staff directly concerned with the teaching of your subject.
