Chemical and Process Engineering is concerned with the large scale physical or chemical transformation of material into valuable products.
There is not a single item that you encounter in daily life that has not been 'touched' by a Chemical Engineering process. Depending on the materials being handled and the products, these transformations are carried out in different vessels known as unit processes. Examples are bio and chemical reactors; distillation columns; absorbers; heat exchangers and other unit processes.
