Geospatial Engineering

Geospatial engineering research combines geospatial data acquisition, management and analysis to facilitate decision making. Examples include modelling our environment spatially to simulate and predict the effects of climate change, using satellite imagery to track landscape change in remote areas, use of hyperspectral laser scanning to estimate forest health and integrating real-time data into real-time modelling.
