There are a variety of planned open days for both prospective undergraduates and postgraduates.

Prospective undergraduates

Open Days

Newcastle University holds open days for prospective undergraduate students in the summer and autumn each year. Our next undergraduate Open Days are on 30 June, 2 July and the 16 September 2017.

Open Days are your opportunity to explore the University before you apply.

All of our courses are showcased and you will be able to see:

Post Application Visit Day

After you apply, if we make you an offer you will be invited to a Post Application Visit Day.

The day includes:

  • a detailed review of your course
  • a full tour of our facilities
  • an opportunity for an informal chat with staff

You will also meet current students and find out what studying with us is really like.

We strongly encourage you to attend a Post Application Visit Day, even if you visited us before you apply. You'll be surprised how much more there is to hear about.

Prospective postgraduates

Open Days

We hold Postgraduate Open Days for prospective postgraduate students to come and look around the campus and talk to staff and students. Our next Postgraduate Open Day will take place in February 2018.  Further details will follow nearer the time.
