Postgraduate – MSc/PGDip Course Induction Information

This page includes information about induction for Postgraduate Taught (i.e. MSc and PGDip) students in the School of Civil Engineering and Geosciences. Pre-arrival information for students is available on the University website.

Induction for students will commence on Monday 23 September 2013. Please check the timetable for your course below to ensure you attend your allocated session. Following an initial welcome, we will reiterate the University's registration procedure to you, and will then begin our induction activities with a safety briefing, and sessions on the other services available to you as a postgraduate student in the School of Civil Engineering and Geosciences. From Tuesday 24 to Friday 27 September you will be engaged in introductory activities tailored to your own degree programme – see the download for your course below for more details.

Formal teaching will commence in the week following induction, i.e. in the week beginning Monday 30 September 2013.
