Air Quality and Health

This short course is aimed at air quality and health planners and experts who are interested in learning about:

• sources of air pollution
• impact of air quality on health
• global and national air quality trends
• spatial and temporal variations in air quality across a city or region
• methodology for health impact assessment of changes in urban air quality using outputs from existing air quality modelling tools.

The course commences at 10:00, with registration from 09:45, and finishes at 16:30.

The course is based on the internationally recognised research that Margaret Bell, Anil Namdeo and their team are involved in. Combined with their extensive experience of working with Local Authorities and other partners, the course is thus informed by both the latest research and by experience of practical implementation.
