Newcastle University has a strong history of innovation in environmental engineering for developed and developing economies, which stretches back over 50 years. This innovation continues in the research conducted today. Environmental Engineering is a vibrant multi-disciplinary group, bringing together expertise from engineers, scientists, and social scientists, supported by excellent facilities and conducting research at all scales from the ribosome to the river-basin, for now and the future.
