To attend any of our short CPD courses we would advise you to obtain a student visitor visa. Although entry clearance in this category is not mandatory for all nationalities, we would strongly recommend that you obtain entry clearance as a student visitor before travelling to the UK to avoid any issues at immigration control. Please note that those permitted to enter the UK with 'general visitor' visas are not permitted to study as registered students. If you intend to visit the UK as a delegate of a short CPD course, a visitor visa may be suitable, as you will not be registering on a programme of study with the University, but attending a short training event.
