Abstract: This publication brings together various elements in our study of the Artist in Residence Programme in Northumbria Probation Service, which spanned a considerable period of time. Although we collected a wealth of data, we have limited the report to an examination of a number of key themes which reflect concerns about the partnership between arts and offenders, and to an explanation of social impacts. We conclude with some recommendations for future partnerships.
