Abstract: This brief article gives an account of a teacher research project carried out by two practitioners working in two different schools, on the transference of thinking skills through the 'Odd One Out' technique. The research was funded by a shared scholarship awarded by the National Union of Teachers. The article, aimed at NUT members, describes the research process and main findings of the project.
