Directions to the Campus for Ageing and Vitality
PARKING - PLEASE NOTE:
Visitors are not permitted to park in the red bays in front of the Newcastle Biomedical Research Building as these are reserved for patients attending the clinics.
To the Studley Terrace/ Nuns Moor Road entrance:
- From Newcastle city centre turn on to Barrack Road and continue past St. James Park
- Turn left at the first set of traffic lights after The Black Bull pub on to New Mills
- Continue straight ahead until you reach the entrance to Campus for Ageing and Vitality
To the Westgate Road entrance:
- From Newcastle city centre turn on to Westgate Road and continue straight ahead until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with Brighton Grove
- Take the next available turning on the right in to the Campus for Ageing and Vitality
N.B. The Campus for Ageing and Vitality is No. 77 on the University campus map

Travel by Bus
The Campus for Ageing and Vitality is well served by buses from the city centre:
- from Eldon Square (Blackett Street) use route 12 to Studley Terrace/ Nuns Moor Road, or routes 39 and 40 to Westgate Road
- from Central Station use route 36 to Studley Terrace/ Nuns Moor Road, or routes 10, 11 or 38 to Westgate Road

Travel by Rail
Newcastle Central Station is 5 minutes away by taxi or bus routes 10 or 38. Trains to London are frequent (at least hourly) and fast (journey time about 3 hours).
Travel by Air
Newcastle International Airport is 15 minutes away by taxi.
