Our research on ageing is conducted through a number of University Research Institutes and Centres, several of which came into being through major external awards.
Much of the research has a strong translational thrust and is managed within the context of Newcastle Biomedicine, a partnership between University and National Health Service partners, in particular the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
