Newcastle – Europe's Largest Centre of Ageing Expertise

The Newcastle Campus for Ageing and Vitality aims to find new solutions to the many challenges and opportunities of ageing populations. It was created through the Newcastle Biomedicine partnership between Newcastle University and the Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The University's Institute for Ageing and Health is also based in the Academic Quarter of the campus with its unique facilities.

Changing Age for Business

The Changing Age for Business initiative was created by the University.

It is located within the Campus for Ageing and Vitality and provides access to our extensive expertise.

It helps businesses and retailers seize opportunities to provide older people – the largest growing section of the population – with products and services needed to maintain independent, good-quality lives.
