The Northern Universities Sustainability Chemistry Initiative(NORSC) gets underway on the 24th April when the 4 Universities involved(Newcastle, Durham, Leeds, and York) make a series of presentations to Members of the North East Process Industry Cluster(NEPIC) at Ramside Hall, Durham.
"People talk in general terms about the relevance of University Research to the Chemical Industry" says Professor Mike Green, Head of Chemistry at the University of Newcastle " And the need for Chemistry Departments to work together to help provide the critical mass to help industries thrive. Well it's about to happen ". The four Chemistry Schools have got together to pool their knowledge and experience and to act as a one stop shop to develop and deliver the technology needed by the local Chemical sector to grow and thrive. With The support of NEPIC, this will all come together at the April Meeting.
