We are very pleased to announce that Professor Judith Howard of the University of Durham has accepted a position of Visiting Professor to the School of Chemistry here at Newcastle. Judith is a leading world expert in Crystallography and has published nearly 1200 papers on the subject. She will strengthen a team which also includes Professor William Clegg and recent appointee Dr Michael Probert as we make structural determination of molecules one of the key research areas for the School going forward.
