Taught degrees
Our taught programmes focus on providing advanced training in the exciting
area of drug chemistry. The programmes build on the research done by
the School's Synthesis, Structure and Reactivity research group, which has
close links with the Northern Institute for Cancer Research and the University
Research Centre in Catalysis and Intensified processing.

Postgraduate students are taught in our newly refurbished synthetic chemistry teaching laboratories.
Funding
A number of scholarships are available from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council for UK/ EU students . Separate awards for high achieving international students are also available direct from the University. Full details of both schemes are available on our funding pages
