New Physical Chemistry Laboratory

View of the main physical chemistry laboratory.The School of Chemistry is proud to announce the completion of the Physical Chemistry laboratory refurbishment. Andrew Crawford, Technical Services Manager stated 'This refurbishment completes a 5 year program to upgrade all of our undergraduate teaching facilities to provide a quality environment in which our students can learn'.

The laboratory is fitted with modern benching, storage facilities and seating. All benches are equipped with power supply and data points. Other services include nitrogen, compressed air, vacuum and natural gas supplies. In addition to the main laboratory area there are 3 instrument rooms, each with power supply and data points. The perimeter has also been plumbed to allow for the installation of distilled water and crushed ice machines.
