Scholarships

The School of Chemistry offers a range of Scholarships for 2012 entry into all our Chemistry undergraduate degree programmes. These will be awarded on academic merit and more information can be obtained by contacting the Undergraduate Admissions Tutor, Dr Andrew Pike.

In addition, Newcastle University is investing £29 million over the next five years to help students who study here, and the following are the scholarships that you may be eligible to receive.

• 20 Newcastle University Promise Scholarships worth up to £9,000 for each year of a degree.
• For students from England, 455  Newcastle University National Scholarships worth up to £3,000 a year.
• Newcastle University Access Scholarships worth £2,000 for each year of a degree.
• If you play sport at a high level, check out our sports scholarships.

In order to be eligible for some of these, you need to apply for financial assessment from  Student Finance England or equivalent.
